What Others Say About Us

“I think what I’ve learned, or what I’ve gotten from ASA is a level of understanding of risk management in the construction industry and because of that our company has been much stronger particularly in the most recent recession.  Whether it’s through an ASA program, a webinar, a national meeting or just the networking among different ASA members, it has given me the backbone to be a much stronger contractor, a much better risk manager for our company, for my family, so that our company has been able to make it through this past recession and start gaining a better foothold on the future.”

- Stephen Rohrbach, President, F.A. Rohrbach, Inc.

"My first exposure to the ASA organization was to attend a Contract Study Group that was held in 2008.  The saying, “you don’t know what you don’t know,” applied to me and the 13-session series was a real eye-opener.  I attended the same Contract Study Group series in 2013 and continued to gain valuable tools for reviewing contracts.  The value of ASA does not stop at education; the networking, government advocacy efforts and professional development opportunities are equally important.  I highly recommend membership in this valuable organization."

- Dwayne Weaver, CEO, Hershocks, Inc.

“As a service provider to the construction industry, I have found my membership in ASA to be a great value. While being able to network with subcontractors and other construction businesses, I have found my membership with ASA to be so much more. The educational and government outreach component of ASA has given me a greater depth and understanding of the issues encountered daily by subcontractors. This understanding has assisted me in being a better service provider to these same businesses as I better understand what drives these subcontractors on a daily basis. ASA clearly services its subcontract members at a high level.”

- David B. Blain CPA, CVA, Partner, McKonly & Asbury, LLP
